Fabrication of Crosslinkable Hollow Fiber Membranes for Pervaporation Dehydration
Integrally-skinned asymmetric Polyetherimide/Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PEI/PVA) hollow fber membranes for pervaporation dehydration were fabricated by non-solvent induced phase inversion. PVA inside the PEI matrix could be crosslinked to provide membrane performance stability during long term operation. The effects of different PEI/PVA blend ratio, external coagulant type and...

ine"> Chabazite zeolite membranes were synthesized for their potential application in dehydration of natural gas. The membranes were prepared using secondary growth method on porous <span styl...
متن کاملHigh selectivity ZIF-93 hollow fiber membranes for gas separation.
Zeolitic imidazolate framework-93 (ZIF-93) continuous membranes were synthesized on the inner side of P84 co-polyimide hollow fiber supports by microfluidics. MOFs and polymers showed high compatibility and the membrane exhibited H2-CH4 and CO2-CH4 separation selectivities of 97 (100 °C) and 17 (35 °C), respectively.
متن کاملSeparation of Dissolved Gas for Breathing of a Human against Sudden Waves Using Hollow Fiber Membranes
The separation of dissolved gas including dissolved oxygen can be used in breathing for a human under water. When one is suddenly wrecked or meets a tsunami, one is instantly drowned and cannot breathe under water. To avoid this crisis, when we meet waves, the dissolved gas separated from water by wave is used, while air can be used to breathe when we are about to escape from water. In this the...
متن کاملPolyimide Hollow Fiber Membranes for Co2 Separation from Wet Gas Mixtures
Matrimid®5218 hollow fiber membranes were prepared using the dry-wet spinning process. The transport properties were measured with pure gases (H2, CO2, N2, CH4 and O2) and with a mixture (30% CO2 and 70% N2) in dry and wet conditions at 25 °C, 50 °C, 60 °C and 75 °C and up to 600 kPa. Interesting values of single gas selectivity up to 60 °C (between 31 and 28 for CO2/N2 and between 33 and 30 fo...
